Hulled Buckwheat: Raw and Organic
Known in Quebec as the "golden pile." Rich in lecithin to help soak "bad" cholesterol. High in magnesium for heart health, manganese for joint support, iron to boost blood and B vitamins to support the nervous system.
Rinse, discard water and put 1 cup buckwheat to 2 cups water. Bring to boil, reduce heat, simmer, 15-20min. Use it plain, in stir fry, pudding or add to soup or salad.
