Hulled Millet


The Hunzas, known for their longevity, enjoy millet as a staple in their diet. This gluten-free alkaline grain is easier to digest than other grains. 


Rinse and soak overnight. Rinse. For fluffy consistency, prepare 1 cup to 1 1/2 cups water. Boil. Simmer 10-15 min. Add to soups, stews, salads, use as porridge or in place of rice.
