“So – what is permaculture, exactly?”
This is a question that can be answered in a lively conversation that starts with the social and environmental mess we’re facing, and ends with the affirmation that yes, there is a way that we can meet our needs while not only preserving but enhancing eco-system health!
The textbook definition is:
Permaculture is a set of design principles centered on whole systems thinking, simulating, or directly utilizing the patterns and resilient features observed in natural ecosystems. It uses these principles in a growing number of fields from regenerative agriculture, rewilding, and community resilience.
Permaculture is an innovative framework for creating sustainable ways of living. It is a practical method of developing ecologically harmonious, efficient and productive systems that can be used by anyone, anywhere.
If you’ve ever wondered what the big deal is about permaculture – or if you have enough of an idea to want to learn more – or if you’re looking for a way to do good for the planet while you build a successful life for yourself – you’ll never have a better opportunity to get your questions answered.
Join us for an exclusive 3-part series with Rob Avis, founder of Verge Permaculture starting Wednesday July 1st at 7pm.
You will be part of a small group joining us for a discussion about the principles of permaculture and how it provide practical solutions to some of the biggest challenges we all face.
Be sure to register to be on the call. A recording will be provided afterwards. This course is normally offered for a fee but as part of Light Cellar community you have an opportunity to join us for free. Be sure to register and take advantage of this opportunity.
Once you are registered you will receive an email on July 1st with all the details to join the call starting at 7pm.
