Ashwagandha Extract: Organic
Ashwagandha has a mystical reputation as an herb of longevity and an elixir of life. Its Sanskrit name means “that which imparts the strength and smell of a horse”, and it is often referred to as Ayurvedic ginseng. The bitter root is traditionally consumed as a bedtime drink enjoyed with warmed milk, honey and ghee. This plant is used widely in India as a traditional daily herb.
Extract: Add 1/4-1 tsp to smoothies, tea and other warm beverages. Or make into a tincture. Tea decoction: Add 1 tsp per cup boiling water. Boil 15-20 min. Strain. Or make into a tincture.
Favourite Extract Ashwagandha
Ashwagandha is my number 1 plant ally. I’ve been taking it for the past 4 years and for me, a tiny amount stirred in to water each morning keeps any anxiety at bay. I am grateful for this amazing adaptogen. It is always going to be in my supplement cupboard.
