Reishi Mushroom Slices: Raw Organic - Light Cellar

REISHI 42

Known as the "Mushroom of Immortality", said to calm the mind, build will power, wisdom and physical resilience as well as enhance the spirit. 

These are very unique and special reishi slices, cultivated on a medium of 42 different medicinal herbs. Different from common log-planting, this method provides more active ingredients, greater medicinal value, and is very eco-friendly compared to log-planting

Instructions:

Decoction: Add 3-5 slices per 1L water. Boil 2-5 min. Simmer 15-60 min or longer. Strain. Drink as tea or use as a base for elixirs, hot chocolate, soups or smoothies. Make a big batch to sip all day or store finished tea in refrigerator for up to 5 days. Reishi slices can be re-brewed 2-3 times. And or made into a tincture.

Mushroom Tea!

Since taking a class at the Light Cellar about mushrooms, I have been a huge fan of these slices. I make tea each weekend simmering on the stove (adding other yummy herbs or spices from TLC) and batches of broths and store for making things like rice dishes, soups and stews. I have many, many different dried mushrooms and powders from the shop, but the Rieshi slices are my fav.
