Dark Roast Yerba: Organic, Smoked - The Light Cellar
A delicious alternative to coffee or tea highlighting both roasted and unroasted mate. The added roasted flavours from mate carob, barely and chicory make this a dark brew with chocolatey notes and a robust caffeinated boost.
Use 1 1/2 tsp per cup, or adjust to your desired strength. First, moisten the mate with cool water to protect the properties, then steep with freshly boiled water in a French press or covered pot for 3-10 mins. Blends well with other herbs.
