The name comes from the region of Gilead which was renowned for its powerfully healing balm. It is created by collecting the resin from the balsam poplar tree, infused in olive oil.
Known to be rich in antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties and historically used for infections, bites, burns, scrapes, bruises, irritations, scars, or blemishes. Also has been used for pain, inflammation, and is moisturizing and protective to the skin.
Apply topically when and where needed.
