Made with a base of 74% heirloom cacao from Ecuador that we stonegrind in-house we add Chaga mushroom extract for minerals, antioxidants and immune boosting benefits, vanilla for a synergistic floral flavour and is topped off with some maple sugar for a sweetly pleasant crunch.

Chaga (Inonotus obliquus) is a medicinal mushroom that grows on birch trees in the northern hemisphere. Known as the ‘King of Mushrooms’, Chaga stimulates and supports the health of the immune system, helping wounds heal and effectively reducing the severity of allergies. It is also rich in many vitamins and minerals including B-complex vitamins, vitamin D, potassium, iron, zinc, calcium, and magnesium to name a few. An incredible source of antioxidants, and serious research is being done on the cancer fighting properties of this super mushroom.  Chaga may also help regulate the production of cytokines - proteins that play a vital role in stimulating white blood cells, preparing the immune system to fight off illness.  This can also help reduce inflammation in the body, the root of many illnesses such as arthritis and autoimmune disorders.
