Postnatal depletion and perinatal mood disorders are rampant in our communities. There are many contributing factors to this, but some key ones are intergenerational depletion and a lack of community support, resulting in mothers who are under-resourced, under-nourished, and burnt out.
However, a way forward reclaiming cross-cultural postpartum care wisdom, meeting the reality of our current modern times is here. Join Brittany Zeer, an INNATE Postpartum Care Practitioner, for an empowering class rooted in the 5 Essentials of Postpartum Care, which are really the essentials for health and wellbeing for women and mothers of all ages and stages.
In this class you will learn:
- Why mother-centered care and the well-being of mothers is essential for the future of
today’s children, and generations to come
- An introduction into the 5 Essentials of Postpartum Care (Rest, Warmth, Body Care,
Nourishment, & Community Support)
- Why these are essential for mothers, and ultimately the entire family, in the early
postpartum time and beyond
- How you can integrate care practices to support yourself whether you’re planning for/are
currently pregnant, you’re 3 days to 30+ years postpartum, and how you can support
women in your community in meaningful, tangible ways
- Benefits of some favorite nutrient-dense foods and natural supplements to help repair
depletion like bone broth, beef liver, cod liver oil, and herbal infusions
And so much more! This class is designed to be a community resource guide, so mothers, friends, partners, and health care practitioners supporting pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and beyond are welcome and encouraged to attend!
Your registration includes a Superfood Bone Broth Recipe and an Herbal Infusion Recipe from Brittany’s upcoming Blissful Postpartum Cookbook, and a recording of the session.
You are welcome to join in-person or online.
All registrants will receive a recording of the session afterward.
