Fir Hydrosol
Made In-House | Wild Harvested | 120ml
A crisp, grounding forest tonic that brings the mountain wilderness indoors. Fir is one of the most versatile conifers in the aromatic toolkit, equally at home in a skincare routine, a steam inhalation, or a post-workout muscle rub.
Its antibacterial and antioxidant properties make it a refreshing facial mist for congested or blemish-prone skin, and its astringent nature helps tone and tighten. Applied topically, its anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties make it a natural choice for sore muscles, joint pain, and tension.
Inhaled as a steam, it works as an expectorant to ease congestion, coughs, and respiratory discomfort. Aromatically, fir is known to calm the nervous system, encourage mental clarity, and ease stress, grounding in the truest sense of the word.
Throughout Native American history, Fir trees have symbolized protection and spirituality. The Fir tree has also been associated with determination, honesty, and the endurance that comes with hope for the future
Use: Spray aromatically or enjoy in a diffuser
Ingredients: Wild-harvested B.C. Douglas Fir, Wild harvested B.C. Balsam Fir
What are Hydrosols?
Hydrosols are aromatic and therapeutic waters created by distilling fresh or dried organic and wild-crafted plant materials. All of our in-house hydrosols are true hydrosols — crafted through a long, slow, traditional distillation process using a lead-free alembic copper distiller, hand-sourced from Portugal.
Unlike conventional essential oil production, we intentionally keep the essential oils blended into the final distillate, ensuring every bottle delivers the full potency of the plant. We also prioritize fresh plant material whenever possible — and for good reason. Fresh plants carry something that dried botanicals simply cannot: living cellular water.
This cellular water is typically lost during the high-pressure steam distillation used in commercial essential oil production. It is rich in bioavailable minerals, phytosterols, antioxidants, and a vast spectrum of water-soluble botanical compounds — and it is precisely this that gives our hydrosols their depth of aroma and genuine therapeutic character.
