Apothiki Greek Mountain Tea

Greek Mountain Tea (Sideritis Scardica) is a single-varietal, high-elevation tea native to Mount Olympus. The flowers, leaves and stems are brewed to create a caffeine-free, antioxidant and polyphenol rich cup of tea, a staple in the traditional Greek diet.

Our Greek mountain tea is hand-grown and picked using traditional farming methods on the Chalkias family farm outside of the village of Karya, Mount Olympus.

Use: Break up a small handful of tea in a pot of water (3g per 12oz of water), including flower, leaf and stem. Bring to a boil and simmer for 3-5 minutes, remove from heat and steep for another 3-5 minutes. Strain and enjoy.

Pairs well with honey and lemon.
