Whispering Elegance in Petals: Delighting the Senses with the enchanting beauty and fragrant charms of lilac blooms

Our lilac hydrosol is not a by-product of essential oil manufacturing, but rather a whole hydrosol produced from the lilac flowers. This is a beautiful, high-quality aromatic product suitable for therapeutic and internal use.

It has a deep floral aroma, and can be sprayed on the skin and face. It is refreshing, cooling, soothing and suitable for all skin types, even the most sensitive. Use directly on skin as it is very gentle and safe to use for those with allergies, scent irritations, acne and rosacea.  It makes an excellent base for skin toners.

Lilacs are not toxic to humans, cats, or dogs. Safe for internal use and for use in cosmetic recipes.

Use:

  • For culinary inspirations, this may be used on its own to give a delightful, floral flavour to desserts and drinks of all kinds.
  • This hydrosol is also a fantastic ingredient for homemade cleaning solutions.
  • Use in baths, saunas, and humidifiers. Is antiseptic. Spray to freshen up a room and linens (spritzing sheets or when ironing).
  • Considered to be an extraordinary all-natural insect repellent.
  • Safe to consume internally: Enjoy by the drop, spritz and/or use 1 tsp - 1 Tbsp per serving. Add to teas, Elixirs, or desserts. Use topically or internally as inspired.

What are Hydrosols?

Hydrosols are aromatic and therapeutic waters created by distilling fresh or dried organic and wild-crafted plant materials. All of our in-house hydrosols are true hydrosols — crafted through a long, slow, traditional distillation process using a lead-free alembic copper distiller, hand-sourced from Portugal.

Unlike conventional essential oil production, we intentionally keep the essential oils blended into the final distillate, ensuring every bottle delivers the full potency of the plant. We also prioritize fresh plant material whenever possible — and for good reason. Fresh plants carry something that dried botanicals simply cannot: living cellular water.

This cellular water is typically lost during the high-pressure steam distillation used in commercial essential oil production. It is rich in bioavailable minerals, phytosterols, antioxidants, and a vast spectrum of water-soluble botanical compounds — and it is precisely this that gives our hydrosols their depth of aroma and genuine therapeutic character.

Note: Herbal preparations are traditionally used to support overall wellness. Individual results may vary. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
