Rehmannia Root Pieces: Organic - Light Cellar
Rehmannia root is one of the 50 fundamental herbs in Chinese Medicine and is said to help balance Yin energy. These roots are prepared in the traditional way by boiling with a mixture of white wine and a black bean infusion until the liquids have evaporated. The blackened root is then sun-dried. Prepared in this way, the root is sweet and cooling in its nature.
Tea decoction: 1-2 tsp per cup water. Simmer 10-30 mins. Reuse decoction 4-5 times.
