Rolled Oats: Gluten-free Organic - Light Cellar
Oats are warming, sweet and just slightly bitter. Rolled oats are lightly toasted, hulled, steamed and then pressed flat. Soak overnight to use in breakfast recipes and baking. Use dry and grind in the blender or food processor to make freshly ground oat flour.
Use in porridge, granola baking, soups and energy bars. Replace all-purpose flour in most recipes with 1/3-2/3 oat flour per cup and the remaining with a lighter flour such as rice, quinoa, or teff. Use externally as a soothing poultice for the skin.
