In the Middle Ages, cumin seed was thought to promote love and fidelity. Taken in India as a remedy to diarrhea, flatulence and indigestion and traditionally used to improve liver function, headaches and constipation. High in iron to add a boost of energy and support for the immune system. 

Add this nutty, peppery, flavour to curry, yoghurt, pickling, beans, lamb, stew, chilli, soup, bread, scrambled eggs or couscous.
