Step into the forest and experience the medicine of pine firsthand

Join Malcolm Saunders for an immersive field day focused on one of the forest’s most unique and celebrated seasonal gifts: pine pollen.

In this guided outdoor experience, you’ll learn how to responsibly and efficiently harvest pine pollen while gaining insight into the traditional uses, preparations, and medicinal qualities of pine and other wild forest plants.

This is a hands-on harvesting experience designed to help you move beyond simply identifying plants and into the practical world of transforming wild ingredients into usable food and medicine.

Together, we’ll explore the forest, gather pine pollen, discuss harvesting techniques developed through years of experience, and share ideas for turning what you collect into tinctures, ferments, salves, and other preparations.
