Pine Pollen Tincture

Made In-House | Wild-Harvested | 100 ml

An Ancient Food from the Pines

For a brief window each spring, male pine cones fill with a fine golden pollen before releasing it to the wind. It is during this short seasonal window that our team ventures into the Rocky Mountains of Alberta and BC to harvest it by hand.

Pine pollen has a long history as both food and herbal preparation, particularly within Asian traditions, where pine has long been associated with longevity, vitality and resilience. Various parts of pine trees have also served as important foods and materials for cultures living alongside pine forests around the world.

Pollen is the male reproductive material of the pine tree. It contains proteins and a diverse range of naturally occurring plant compounds. Modern interest in pine pollen has brought this traditional food to the attention of herbalists, athletes and health enthusiasts looking to incorporate nutrient-rich and traditionally valued foods into their routines.

We tincture our freshly harvested pollen in-house, creating a convenient way to experience a food that would otherwise be available for only a very short time each year.

Use: Shake well before using—a natural sediment of pollen is normal. Take directly or add to water, juice, tea or an elixir according to the suggested serving.

Note: Herbal tinctures are traditionally used to support overall wellness. Individual results may vary. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Consult your healthcare practitioner before use if you have a medical condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are taking medications.
