As a facial toner, it helps balance oily or combination skin, tighten pores, and brighten a dull complexion. For hair and scalp, it is a beloved natural go-to — a regular scalp mist or post-wash rinse can help support circulation to the scalp, add shine, and encourage overall hair health. Aromatically, rosemary is naturally uplifting and clarifying, making it a great mid-afternoon spritz when focus starts to fade.

It also shines in the kitchen — add a splash to soups, salad dressings, cocktails, or lemonade for a subtle herbal note that feels both fresh and a little unexpected.

What are Hydrosols?

Hydrosols are aromatic and therapeutic waters created by distilling fresh or dried organic and wild-crafted plant materials. All of our in-house hydrosols are true hydrosols — crafted through a long, slow, traditional distillation process using a lead-free alembic copper distiller, hand-sourced from Portugal.

Unlike conventional essential oil production, we intentionally keep the essential oils blended into the final distillate, ensuring every bottle delivers the full potency of the plant. We also prioritize fresh plant material whenever possible — and for good reason. Fresh plants carry something that dried botanicals simply cannot: living cellular water.

This cellular water is typically lost during the high-pressure steam distillation used in commercial essential oil production. It is rich in bioavailable minerals, phytosterols, antioxidants, and a vast spectrum of water-soluble botanical compounds — and it is precisely this that gives our hydrosols their depth of aroma and genuine therapeutic character.
