Sage is a fantastic herb that’s effective for supporting our lung health during this time as it’s an expectorant. It’s also great for memory and brain health. Sage hydrosol can be enjoyed as is, in an elixir, in lemonades, lemonades etc. or use it externally as a spray or in a diffuser.

What are Hydrosols?

Hydrosols are aromatic and therapeutic waters created by distilling fresh or dried organic and wild-crafted plant materials. All of our in-house hydrosols are true hydrosols — crafted through a long, slow, traditional distillation process using a lead-free alembic copper distiller, hand-sourced from Portugal.

Unlike conventional essential oil production, we intentionally keep the essential oils blended into the final distillate, ensuring every bottle delivers the full potency of the plant. We also prioritize fresh plant material whenever possible — and for good reason. Fresh plants carry something that dried botanicals simply cannot: living cellular water.

This cellular water is typically lost during the high-pressure steam distillation used in commercial essential oil production. It is rich in bioavailable minerals, phytosterols, antioxidants, and a vast spectrum of water-soluble botanical compounds — and it is precisely this that gives our hydrosols their depth of aroma and genuine therapeutic character.
