Wild Jungle Peanuts

A wild heirloom variety of peanut, the grandmother of domestic peanuts, that is native to South America and wild-harvested in the Ecuadorian Amazon by the Achuar people. These tiger-striped peanuts are unroasted and have a sweet, creamy flavour, making them a tasty addition to trail mix, chocolate, cookies and other foods.

Use: Enjoy raw or lightly roasted. Try adding to salads and stir-fries, in desserts, or ground into nut butter.
