What if the plants growing all around you could support your health, energy, and resilience?

Most people walk past useful food and medicine every day without ever realizing it.

In this engaging and eye-opening session, Malcolm Saunders will introduce you to a simple and approachable framework for beginning to work with plants in a way that is practical, grounded, and actually doable in everyday life.

This is not about becoming an expert herbalist or memorizing hundreds of herbs.

It’s about learning how to:

  • Recognize useful plants around you

  • Understand how they support the body

  • Start using them in simple, practical ways

  • Build confidence in your ability to care for yourself and your family

You’ll be introduced to the 5-Fold Path—a clear and manageable approach designed to help you move from curiosity to real-world application without overwhelm.

Along the way, we’ll explore local plants, practical preparations, and simple ways to begin integrating herbal practices into your life.

In this session, you’ll learn:

  • The foundations of becoming your own herbalist

  • How to begin working with local and accessible plants

  • Practical ways to incorporate herbs into daily life

  • The difference between overwhelm and sustainable learning

  • How herbalism can deepen connection, resilience, and self-reliance

  • A realistic pathway for continuing your learning over time

What you’ll experience:

  • A guided introduction to practical herbalism

  • Real examples using local and accessible herbs

  • Stories, insights, and foundational frameworks

  • Tangible ideas you can begin applying immediately

  • A new perspective on the plants and ecosystems around you
